As the founder of Homeniu, I am someone whoconstantly seeks refuge in nature among concrete jungles. Childhood memories of watching my grandfather weave bamboo cricket cages and grapevine baskets with gnarled fingers ignited a lifelong fascination with“handmade magic”—the warmth and soul embedded in creations touched by human hands.

My travels took me to Bali’s beaches, where fishermen repaired nets with techniques passed through generations; to Kyoto’s artisan studios, where a single brushstroke on lacquerware could glisten like liquid moonlight; and to Dali, China, where a Bai ethnic grandmother taught me to dye cloth with flowers and herbs, revealing nature’s hidden poetry in every hue.

These moments revealed a truth: true beauty lies in the symbiosis between humans and nature.

Most “nature-inspired” products today are little more than surface-level aesthetics—mass-produced, devoid of life. We refuse to settle for that. At Homeniu, we craft “tangible nature”:
